The Beggar Folk is a five-piece band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania that was built around the husband and wife duo, Josh and Trista Lamb. Josh and Trista moved to Lancaster in the summer of 2009 after first visiting the LAUNCH Music Conference in April of that year. Their sound is mellow and introspective and layered with beautiful harmonies and a complimentary string section made up of two violins and cello. All of the music on today’s show was recorded live here at the Wood Stove House studio in Lancaster.
