Camela Widad Kraemer spent the early years of her creative career traveling the country as an actor. In 1999 her focus changed to singing and writing songs, where she has comfortably spent the last decade. She released several independent albums while living in notable music towns like Austin and Los Angeles. Most recently she has called Central Pennsylvania home and stays active performing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. In December 2010, Camela stopped by the Wood Stove House to chat about her creative journey and the inspiration behind her latest album,Before You’re Gone.
