ATWS #28: Mike McMonagle

Mike McMonagle is a Lancaster, Pennsylvania native who didn’t start playing music in the area until after spending a half dozen years in Baltimore and DC attending college and working in Public Relations. In the last year Mike has returned to Lancaster and made quite a splash in the regional music scene. Performing on such coveted stages as the Chameleon Club and Philly’s World Café, Mike plays solo or with any number of friends, including members of notable bands Slimfit and Toy Soldiers. I caught up with Mike at the Candy Factory in March 2011 to talk about his journey and some of the tracks on his six and four EP.
