Alyson Greenfield is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music festival organizer from New York City. She was in Lancaster in April 2011 for the Launch Music Conference and stopped by the Candy Factory to chat about her two most recent CDs and her Tinderbox Music Festival. Tinderbox is happening September 10th, 2011 at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn and features two dozen female artists who are producing innovative original music. 100% of the festival’s net proceeds benefit organizations involved in empowering the next generation of female artists including Girls Write Now and the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls.
