Podcast #99: Barry Kornhauser and it's Mickel Time
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Barry Kornhauser has been an integral part of the Lancaster arts scene for three decades. He spent most of that time in various leadership and creative roles at the Fulton Theatre. In 2012, Barry joined the team at Millersville University as the Family Arts Collaborative Manager, spearheading a new initiative called Fam Fun Fest.
This family focused series of arts events includes a wide array of engaging performances, with opportunities to meet the artists, and take part in creative, hands-on activities. The low-cost shows are held on Saturday mornings at 11 am but include a whole hour of free activities in the lobby starting at 10 am. I recently caught up with Barry to chat about his work at Millersville University and the Fulton, and his passion for bringing the arts to disadvantaged children.
