Kingsfoil are celebrating the release of their brand new album this week. A Beating Heart is a Bleeding Heart, their second full length album with Nashville producer Dustin Burnett, officially releases on Tuesday, September 25. The band will perform Saturday night, September 29 at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA for their official CD release party, which will also kick off an extensive tour to promote the album. The band recently visited the Wood Stove House to talk about the new album and the decision to release the album on their own newly formed label called Holiday Heart records.

Creativity CON 2012
At the Wood Stove House we our really excited to officially announce our first creativity conference in Lancaster coming up on Saturday, October 20 at The Candy Factory. Creativity CON 2012 is a one-day conference featuring five guest speakers who will tell their stories and offer tools and resources to inspire you to Ignite Your Creative Fire. Kingsfoil is perfect. This was a really awesome interview and I can’t wait for tomorrow! I have been listening to “Quick Fix” again and again and I’m still not tired of it. It’s so catchy! I feel weird singing along to it because it’s sort of a dirty song but the piano makes it sound so pretty. My best friend and I really love the line “You are the camera light; the only thing to make me want to smile tonight.” Kingsfoil has always had awesome lyrics. Like on their “Own Our Own Together” song, I love when he says “When you can’t it’s called human let’s get to the being part.” It’s clever.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to be obsessed with the new album, I mean, I loved all the previews you played during the interview. I’m not even sure when I’ll be able to get the album, I might have to wait awhile, but I will get it. Kingsfoil is one of my favorite bands, after all.
Also, I have to admit I wasn’t necessarily happy with Frankie being Kingsfoil’s new drummer. That was really stupid of me. I don’t like how many people comment on Frankie on their social networking accounts, like only Frankie instead of talking about the entire band. That’ll always bother me but Frankie being the drummer will not. I love how much he likes being a part of the band and just the band in general. All of the guys of Kingsfoil are great. They’re perfect, I love ’em.
Oh, and to talk about something in the interview to me it did seem like the album had more piano. Well, I haven’t heard the entire album yet but from the previews and all It seems like it. ‘Course they answered that question, and, uhh, I’m glad you can hear it more now. (;
